Her strength lies in seeing kitchens differently. She begins every project with hand-drawn concept plans, mapping ideas on paper before translating them into immersive visuals — helping clients see how their space will look, flow, and function before a single cabinet is cut.

When she’s not designing kitchens for clients, Cherene leads the Business Operations of HKR — helping drive the systems, strategy and client experience that sit behind every successful renovation.
With nearly 40 years in the kitchen and renovation industry, Graham brings a depth of experience and craftsmanship that’s hard to match.
He’s known for his unique design approach—blending practicality with creativity to deliver kitchens that are as functional as they are beautiful. His extensive portfolio spans everything from sleek modern homes to classic Hamptons transformations, each tailored to the client’s individual taste, lifestyle and budget.
Graham believes great design starts with listening – and he takes the time to understand your space, your style, and how you want to live in it. From there, he creates a solution that doesn’t just tick the boxes—it elevates your entire home.

Yes, we do! Our In-Home Design Consultation is completely FREE. Our specialist designers will visit your home to assess your kitchen space, discuss your ideas, show you product and colour samples, and create a tailored design plan that suits your lifestyle and needs. These Full Service consultations go for around 2.5 – 3 hours depending on the complexity of your project and the questions you have. It’s important that all decision makers be present at these appointments so we can discuss your preferences, ask questions, and ensure the design aligns with everyone’s vision.
As part of the FREE In-Home Design appointment, we create 2D floorplans to help you understand your kitchen layout and provide an accurate quotation. These concept plans remain the property of HKR. When you choose to proceed with us, we’ll take it to the next level by turning these plans into fabulous 3D perspectives for you, and detailed CAD drawings for our team to create your dream kitchen!
If you require Concept plans or 3D’s to be released a design fee will apply (amount will depend on Scope of works covered by the plan). This amount is fully refundable if you proceed with HKR.
NO we don’t. We specialise in complete New kitchens and Hybrid renovations and makeovers. We do not offer partial or small-scale updates such as replacing a benchtop or one or two cabinets. This ensures we can deliver cohesive, high-quality results that meet our exacting standards.

Our renovation costs vary based on the size, materials, and scope of your project. A small makeover might start from as little as $15,000 while a high-end renovation could exceed $50,000.
